FundedNext's stance on EAs
FundedNext allows EAs on all account types. Their restrictions are similar to FTMO's: no HFT, no latency arbitrage, no news-based exploitation. Standard ML-augmented EAs are fine.
The evaluation paths
- Express (2-step): 10% profit step 1, 5% step 2. Closest to FTMO.
- Express (1-step): 8% profit in one phase. Faster path.
- Stellar (no-eval): pay upfront for a smaller funded account, no challenge to fail.
Why algo traders consider FundedNext
Higher profit splits (up to 95% on some tiers), faster payouts (every 7 days after first), 90-day affiliate cookie. The 1-step Express is also faster than FTMO's 2-step process if you have a high-Sharpe EA.
Watch-outs
Like all prop firms, FundedNext periodically updates rules. Read the current published rules before each evaluation purchase — a rule that allowed an EA pattern last year may have changed.
